I had the pleasure of working with Uncommon Solar for the installation of our solar panels and battery storage system, and I can't speak highly enough of the entire experience. From the very beginning, Matt, the expert behind the operation, was an absolute fountain of knowledge and experience in the industry. He guided us seamlessly through the requirements and the design process, making sure we had a system that suited our needs perfectly. His advice on Victoria's Solar rebates and loan options was invaluable and showed just how well Uncommon Solar knows the ins and outs of the industry. Our system consists of: 26x SunPower Maxeon 6 panels (20 north facing and 6 west facing) with Enphase Microinverters, Enphase IQ controller and 2x Enphase 5P batteries. The prices quoted were competitive, and the entire financial process was transparent and fair—no surprises, just honest dealings, which is a breath of fresh air in an industry that often feels unclear. Sourcing the materials and scheduling the installation was smooth and efficient. There were no delays or rescheduled appointments, and I never had to worry about missed calls. The professionalism was evident from start to finish. On installation day, Kenen, the licensed and accredited electrician, arrived promptly, as promised, along with his skilled team. Their work was fantastic, with impressive attention to detail, and I could tell they took pride in their craft. It's rare to see such care in the work being done, and they certainly exceeded expectations. The same high standards were reflected in the back office with Helen, who handled all the paperwork and compliance documentation. It was clear she was meticulous about getting everything done right. high satisfactory experience – Uncommon Solar is our current provider since G-store closed down. They have been very helpful with a quick response time in sorting out a minor issue (software updates relating to replacing an enphase micro inverter which was under warranty). It is the same or similar staff to G-store, which is very helpful for us. I would recommend them based on professionalism, quick response time and good communication.

Absolutely brilliant – It was such a relief to find a transparent and communicative plumbing/solar company amidst the bloodbath that is the industry at the moment. Our hot water system had failed, but Matt and Helen were great from first interaction, setting my mind at ease and explaining how they could help. I had no qualms in proceeding with installation of a Reclaim heat pump, and have been impressed with every step of the process. They were ready with quick before, during and after service, and happy to answer my incessant questions. Very fair pricing and only great product. Looking forward to getting solar with them once budget allows. Would not hesitate to use again, and will recommend to everyone I can.
