We got three quotes from local installers and ended up going with Sun Connect Solar. The clincher was meeting Dean, their head guy — face-to-face, no fuss. He laid everything out in plain English, and we walked away with a good feeling. That’s the beauty of going local. We’re doing the installation in two stages. First up: 19 x 440-watt panels. That part’s done, went off without a hitch, and they’re already pulling in power like champs. Next up, we’re adding a hefty 24 kWh battery, which should take us close to being self-sufficient — and that feels like a big step in the right direction off coal and gas. So far, everything has gone exactly as promised. Dean and his crew have been terrific, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to throw the switch. If you’re thinking about solar, my advice? Go with someone local. Sit down with them, look them in the eye, and see if they feel like the kind of people you want dancing up on your roof. Worked for us! And finally, a big thanks to the government for the generous subsidies. Without them, we might still be thinking about it instead of doing it. I highly recommend Sun Connect Solar in the Northern Rivers NSW. This company has integrity and does what they say they will do. Dean is passionate about what he does and he explained things simply without any sales talk – very refreshing. He values quality and does a quality job. I called at a busy time of year but he managed to fit it in so I could get this year’s government rebate. The installer, Nathan was courteous and did an excellent job. He made sure I understood how to use the App on my phone, took the care to check everything was working properly and came back next day to make an adjustment. The site was left clean and Dean collected all the old solar panels which will be recycled in a 3rd world country. Be mindful that there is another company called Solar Connect which does not have such great reviews.

I recently had Sunconnect Solar install a solar panel system and an EV charger at my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The entire team (Dean and Peter) were professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs. They guided me through every step of the process, from choosing the right system( Fronius Gen 24 Inverter and Wattpilot) to the final installation. The workmanship was top-notch, (as you can see from teh photos) and they completed the project on schedule. I highly recommend Sunconnect Solar to anyone looking for quality solar and EV charger installations! Thanks Dean!
