I had done a reasonable amount of research before obtaining 4 quotes from local installers. Out of the 4 companies, Peter from Solar 1 was the only one that offered to visit us on site and discuss our requirements. Contacted Solar 1 on Monday, 4th March, Peter was able to see us that afternoon. Wednesday, 6th, they had followed up with 3 different options. Wednesday, 13th, after reviewing all the suppliers quotes we decided to go with Solar 1. Two weeks later our 10KW system had been completed with no hassles - no fuss - and most of all no rubbish left behind. Thanks to Peter and all the team at Solar 1 for a totally professional job from start to finish

Two quotes involved a visit to my home. The other was based on a phone discussion only. Solar 1 seemed to listen to me the most. The other two were interested in dealing with my electrical needs now - whereas Solar 1 actually listened when I talked about future needs and what sort of system I was actually after. Solar 1 and I had a sensible discussion about meeting my needs/wants - whereas I felt a bit "bulldozed" by the other two and they proposed systems they wanted to install rather than what I wanted. They all pretty much offered recommended panels (from your list) and a Fronius Inverter. Solar 1 gave me the option of Solaredge DC optimisers and a Solaredge inverter for not much more than the plain-vanilla no optimisers and Fronius Inverter option.

I chose this company for various reasons including that a person came to speak with me personally and do a house/roof inspection to obtain accurate details. Other companies asked me to climb a ladder, take roof pics & then send them through to obtain a quote, which I thought was poor customer service. While there are various ins and outs to getting solar on, the company I chose were extremely helpful and explained everything each time another matter arose.

Good information given by installer. Talked us out of a larger system as we wouldn't get the value out of it! No rush or hard sell. Answered all our questions. Should be installed next week depending on weather

Fantastic Installer, Brilliant Service, Outstanding Installation. They were simply brilliant. Requested a quote. They came out quickly and suggested options appropriate for my property. Price was competitive. Brands were top of the range. From start to finish they were professional. Happy Days.

Of the three solar system quotes I received, only Solar 1 Electrical offered to come to the premises to talk to us and check out where the solar panels would be installed. The other 2 companies emailed me brochures and asked me to pick a solar package. One solar company did not even get the address correct, tried to do a quote on the house next door

Dealing with Clinton and the installers at Solar 1 Electrical was a pleasure. The whole project was swift and hassle-free and I would happily recommend them to anyone looking for Solar. I did my research and I was confident that I was getting the quality panels, inverter and workmanship at a good price. No pressure, no rush either. I also really liked that Clinton visited my place after the installation (not just before when trying to gain your business) and helped me navigate the Vic Gov solar rebate bureaucracy. I spent some time researching the solar panels story thanks to information from your business and other information I was able to gather. I feel I have a system that suits my needs and cost. The time that I put into the research was well worth it there is no doubt that it can be a bit confusing when you first start the process but I felt I had obtained enough information to make my decision

We decided to go with with Solar 1 after great feedback from a friend. Quote was very competitive considering the quality of the panels (Canadian) and the inverter (Fronius) for a 6.6kw system. Great service by the Solar 1 team, all the way through from initial quoting to the install. Vic Govt safety inspectors came around this morning to complete a random audit of the system & installation work. Even the inspectors were very impressed with the job, finding no issues what so ever. In the inspectors words “Not even a sticker or safety label out place”! Remember folks, you get what you pay for & Solar 1 definitely delivered on that!

Open, honest and great to deal within. We had a large system installed at the Maryborough Highland Society. Great workmanship, high quality product with minimal disruptions. Follow up service (albeit minimal required) has also been great. Highly Recommend!

The quoting process was really easy. Happy to beat the price from their competitors. Installation was slightly delayed due to staffing issue which was beyond their control. The installation was done smoothly without issues. Overall very happy with the chosen panels and inverter, and I have no problem recommending this company.

Solar 1 Electrical responded promptly to my request for quote and completed the job within two weeks of quoting for the job. The company representative was excellent to deal with and always responded immediately to any enquiries. I have no hesitation in recommending the company to prospective clients. When the Commonwealth department conducted an audit of the installation the contractor praised the quality of the work.

Attended the property on the day and time specified, was impressed with Peter and his expertise and decided to go with Solar1, primarily due to the recommendation of the Electrical Inspector (Leigh McKenzie). The installation of the panels was done quickly and in one day plus any issues I can (and I had a few) were promptly answered by Peter and therefore, put my mind at ease greatly.
