7 Sep 2020Our 18 year old roof top solar HW system needed replacing. We had moved to PV panels 2 years ago so after researching we decided to go with Reclaim. Our decision was based on:
1. Space constraints required a tall 315l ss tank which Reclaim was able to provide.
2. Australian made parts in the main - the fan system is made in Japan but highly rated and the tank is made in Australia.
3. Option to use an operational mode which would allow us to use our PV solar energy and still give us the option to access an emergency boost when required.
4. Whisper quiet operation.
5. Access to good customer service for the Controller and a good Owners Guide and User Manual.
6. Excellent reviews on Product Review.
We are happy to say that this was the perfect choice and has lived up to our expectations. We monitor our daily energy usage and this has already saved us money because we no longer need to use the off-peak electricity to boost the roof top solar ( winter in Canberra). We have put the system though its paces: set it on Option 4 (10.0am to 4.00pm) and used the Boost mode on 2 days at 10pm to test and the system performed exactly as it should.
The customer service is excellent: they provide a number you can contact for assistance with the controller which is critical in dealing with any error codes etc. We haven't had any such issues but knowing we can access support is wonderful. Highly recommended !

6 Jul 2020So the story goes, gas HWS blew up read reviews and the reclaim heat pump seemed to tick all the boxes for the reasons being:
Aus made, this was a priority for us, the fan system is made in Japan (They make the best) but the balance is Aus made.
Green is a priority in our household so only was a matter of time.
Cost of unit including extras (That you need) $4200. Installation $1300 so $5.5k all up. You are entitled to $1258 government have not applied for that as yet "yeh i know".
I have calculated my first month using reclaim and we have increased our power bill by 22% exactly. so converting to $ for you, i was paying $3.75 per day and now it is costing $4.57 a day. Now i do not have solar power on the roof yet but will soon so this will decrease substantially you would hope????.
UPDATE: Gas bill just arrived and have used 5500 MJ of gas less (Wooohoo) equates to $103.00. All in all saving approx $22.00 for the 1/4 after converting to Reclaim unit.

7 May 2020Researched a diversity of hot water heat pumps and settled on the excellent CO2 Reclaim Energy unit. The control panel allows me to easily choose when it runs, it is super quiet, provides great hot water, and is really neat and tidy. Further it is a competitive price for a premium product. This is the future of hot water. Almost all days I can run the unit of my solar panels. A real winner.

7 May 2020It was time to upgrade our hot water system due to it was 8 years old and we didn’t want to go through another winter worrying if it would break down so our plumber recommended a Reclaim Energy Hot Water Heat Pump due to it will save us money and the government rebate is fantastic, we are very happy with the system.

7 May 2020Great thermal output, whisper quiet and it saves us money!
We are a family of 5, so you can imagine how massive our ultility bills can get up to - now I don't worry so much when the electricity bill comes through.
The Reclaim CO2 heat pump is awesome - thanks to the Australians that designed it!

3 May 2020My neighbor has a Reclaim Hot Water Heat Pump and I was pretty happy with what the savings he got from off his energy bill as it’s over halved, here in Queensland it’s ideal to have one aswell as it’s a good fit down the side of the house. Peter

28 Apr 2020We recently installed a Reclaim Energy Heat Pump, the unit is catering for the hot water needs for seven people and has not missed a beat. We have PV so the flexible controller is a huge bonus as we can manage our costs. It is whisper quiet, we cant tell its on unless you walk right up to it I thoroughly recommend this unit to anyone.

2 Oct 2019The Reclaim was installed 6 months ago to replace an existing Edwards Solar system (very old). It will be connected to PV when they are installed. Whisper quiet running, quick heat recharge and no complaints from the two users.

3 Aug 2019We have had our Ureco Reclaim Energy heat pump for 6 months. Our solar panels provide power for it. It is very quiet (I'm more aware of our fridge running), and the water is consistently hot. Usually 2 people in the house, but occasionally 4, and no complaints. Very happy, and no downside.

1 Jul 2019We’ve had ours for a few weeks and love it! The water is hot, it doesn’t take long to heat up, there’s plenty of it and the fan is quiet.

29 Jun 2019The demand for hot water is good we have not run out of hot water since we have had the system installed and there is at least for to five people showering every day and not short showers either as far as heat goes the people that installed the system set the meter and we have not touched this and is fine.
