Andy was extremely professional, knowledgeable and most importantly easy to deal with. His quote was competitive, he was super fast to install solar and kept me informed throughout process.
I installed 13.32 KW system, End to end it took 2 weeks for Andy to quote get approval and install the system. I got my first bill and for 8 days I got a credit $108.00 and this is not summer yet.
I can not thank Andy enough for his assistance and I will highly recommend him for all his solar needs...

We started looking into Solar options for our two-story house a month ago. I did a bit of research on different inverters and system size until I met Andy from Opera Solar Energy. He has provided in house consultation with various solar design options for our needs. He is full of information about Solar design. We signed a contract for 6.6 KWH with SMA inverter based on his recommendation and within five days his team completed the installation.
Finally, our house is GREEN. Andy has the best team for installation, and they did make sure everting while installing the system and given the best workmanship.

I have got Huawei system which shows me real time monitoring of the energy generated. Also, Andy suggested about the deals that were present in market to sell energy generated by solar and i am making .21 cents/kwh with Origin Energy.

Wednesday 8th January, 2020Petro Semeniuk from New South WalesWe are based in Newtown and seeing plenty panels on other houses we were planning on installing solar panels for a while and had another technician coming over, however it was Andy's proposal which really clicked within us.
He explained in detail importance individual inverters (another company didn't even mention this option exists), upsides and downsides of installing panels at an angle. Both of us are IT professionals to having detailed explanation means lot to us. As of today we are happy owners of 6.6kW system and run aircon pretty much for free through the day in our Newtown house.
Last not least, I'm writing this in the middle of NSW bushfires when almost 3M hectares are burnt. Of course there are numerous actions missing from government and we as individuals have little to no role to play in them.
However, supporting small family businesses, like Andy's, which are taking risk and heavily investing in cutting edge technologies to drive carbon footprint to zero (or even negative) is something that every family can do.

He even recommended which power company to use that would provide us the best deal, and submitted the orders for us to have the netmeter setup. Andy was able to deliver our system less than 10 days after we placed the order, I was expecting to wait much longer. His installers did a fantastic job, they were very professional and left our property spotlessly clean after they were finished. They even took the extra time to replace a cracked tile they found while working on the roof. I highly recommend Opera Solar, Andy and his team were fantastic.

I was totally impressed with Andy's knowledge of Solar products and I went with his recommendations on panels, brands, Smart meter, etc. Andy was patient to address every single query that I had before and after installation. I was/am very comfortable with his support and guidance. The installation process was super quick, much earlier than I anticipated, it took less than 2 weeks. I wasn't sure about the Smart until the day of installation. I decided to go ahead while the electrician was installing the inverter. I mentioned to Andy that I want to go ahead with Smart meter. Both Andy and Electrician accepted my request and installed Smart meter, which I will highly recommend if you want to track the generation vs consumption live. Andy also recommended which electricity provider is good for me and he promptly submitted the necessary papers to my electricity provider so I would enjoy the feed in tariff from the word go. These are few things that highlights Andy's attitude of going above and beyond. His personal touch in the whole journey is icing on the cake. Glad I went with him despite I was given competitive quotes by few others. I saved that money on earlier installation, good products and most importantly the Peace of Mind.
I would highly recommend Andy for the reliability and professionalism to install your solar system.

Andy explained all options to us which allowed us to make an educated decision.
The installers were also very knowledgeable and friendly and during installation put forward suggestions about the position of the panels which were confirmed by Andy who spoke to us to help us understand these suggestions and for our confirmation.
The whole team were, professional and answered our questions about what they had done and about connection to our mains electricity power grid and impact on our future electricity bills.
They had our additional panels installed within a few hours and cleaned up everything after the job was completed.

Installers could perfectly understand what I was asking for and did it brilliantly. After a hail last year we had a couple tiles broken and they replaced them at no cost(My tiles).

During the day system produces enough power to run both Aircons in the household + Dishwasher. 6.6 kw is perfectly sized system for average household of 4 to 5 given its installed on N/W or NW ern side of the house.
