Nothing is perfect, and only 4 stars in this first instance simply because I have not yet experienced the expected 25 years of solar operation. (Not that I expect to be around to give the fifth star then.) However, with respect to customer attention, comprehensive information, staff support, quality -- and very competitive price -- I readily would assign six (6!) stars. Maclee was superb. When I decided I wanted to go solar, initial interest was sparked by TV advertisements. Follow up, however was mostly disappointing (including intrusive hardsell by one company), and I further investigated widely on the Web. First contact with Maclee was rewarding commuicating with Gary, who candidly answered my questions and offered more relevant information. This was done by email and phone over several days and was well worth the effort. Installation was led by the electrical team of Chris. It was commenced right on appointed time, carried out with smooth expertise. ( Special credit is due for the polished dealing with a senile neighbour who was a notorious nuisance to all workers contracted in the units complex.) Then, finally, came the concluding WiFi hookup ably organised by Isabelle from the home office. I am 85 and computers and sundry electronic devices have become increasingly wicked enemies for me. Isabelle handled the seemingly complicated WiFi connections with friendly patience, skillfully prompting my stumbling efforts and wisely suggesting I use two mobiles phones which facilitated concerted communication and action . I've been known to give up in activities beyond my electronic ken, but Isabelle persisted, pleasantly -- and succeeded, admirably. In this period of pandemic nonsense and statistical panic, it was a welcome relief to enjoy something refreshing like my solar conversion accomplished with professional/technical expedition by Maclee.
