Hi Steve, I thought you might like to know how the 6kW system you installed for us back in June last year is travelling. Since switch-on back on June 28, it has produced an average daily output of 23.6kWhr with a highest recorded reading of 40 on Dec 10. It has produced a total of 4880kWh ($1200 worth), of which 3180 have been exported to the grid. Our metered consumption during this time has been 3100 of power and 1270 of hot water, so basically all we’re paying for is hot water. We ran the heater 24/7 for a lot of the winter, which we don’t normally do, so returning to “normal” would probably see most of the hot water consumption covered as well! We are very happy with the outcome!!! Cheers

I highly recommend Steve and the team from Geelong Solar. I had an LG 6.3kw Solar system with a Fronius inverter installed and Steve was Fantastic throughout the entire process. I had done a lot of research about solar and Steve’s knowledge in the industry was outstanding. There are a lot of solar installers in the industry today who will take your money and run but Steve’s communication before & ‘after’ the install was great, he really takes his job seriously and he and his team take pride in there work. A great tradesman is hard to find in any industry so I was very pleased to have found a company that had passion and expertise in there field. As I said, I highly recommend Geelong solar for your install, you will not be disappointed.

We would like to thank Steve Moriarty and his team at Geelong Solar energy, for the efficient and professional manner in installing 20 panels to our roof in Ocean Grove. From the paperwork, to the time stated for installation, which was within the framework and to the three installers Chris, Brett and Angus who worked diligently over a 5 hour period and completed the task. Well done! We were promptly followed up by an inspector and the system is running well. Thanks to all, we would highly recommend your service.

Fantastic service from Steve, Chris and the other installers. Very professional and went through everything with me in detail. They arrived right on time when they said they would and installation only took 3 hours. They took all rubbish with them and left the area spotless. Very impressed and highly recommended.

We had 20 panels and inverter installed in Ocean Grove. They installed ahead of schedule, with a great team who were efficient, friendly, and did a great job. We were very pleased. They helped us get the government rebate. Geelong Solar Energy were great and we would highly recommend them.

Supplied and fitted our 5.2 kw system. Excellent to deal with. High quality, neat and prompt tradesmen. No hassaling. Possibly not the cheapest, nor the dearest, but we are very happy .

Cannot praise enough. No BS, straight up and to the point. Extremely happy with the install and cannot state highly enough how helpful Steve was with the paperwork for the rebate. Great price and install

We have just had a 5Kw system installed by Geelong Solar Energy and Steve Moriarty in particularly. We found Steve by default as a result of asking for a quote to compare with another supplier who had failed to impress. From the first telephone call it was obvious that Steve is committed to his customers, industry and to the Geelong region. He offered to visit and quote within 24 hours and presented a sensible and straight forward approach to our needs. He was fastidious in dealing with Powercor to get the best system installed to fulfil our power needs. He made a firm date for the installation and arrived with two Electricians who made the installation to a very high standard – his team are excellent tradesmen and produced a fine result. Steve has followed up at every stage of the installation particularly with his after sales care with regard to demonstrating the Inverter/Smart meter and arranging relevant inspections etc. We have no hesitation in recommending Steve and his Company Geelong Solar Energy Pty Ltd – he delivers what he promises and they are a pleasure to deal with.

Very happy customer. The installers were knowledgable, polite, neat and left the site with all their rubbish. Having moved from Melbourne recently we had no idea who to go with. Can't speak for performance yet as the install has only just been completed but the last few sunny days are showing high numbers on the output. Hopefully this reflects on our energy bills. Would recommend
