I found Geelong Solar Energy on the Net.
Steve came & explained all aspects of the solar panel systems to me. I then decided that this was the way for me to go.
Within less than 2 weeks the panels were installed.
All involved in the installation were very professional & answered all my queries & concerns.
Not only do they look great but they will definitely help save on my power bills.

It can get very confusing with so many large and small companies and competitive products and prices to consider.
We chose Geelong Solar Energy with absolutly no regrets because they were local and used top quality panels and inverter,and was competitively priced. But most of all we chose them for there prompt service and the way Steve handled his business he could not do enough for us his installation crew were friendly,professional and clean,providing a happy hassle free experience.
The paperwork was done on the day of installation and inspected the very next day. Great Job Steve and Crew.

Overall, fantastic customer service, quick and fuss-free installation. The installers, got to the job on time, were done when they said they would be, cleaned up when they left and were friendly and helpful. We were very impressed.

The whole experience of looking for a solar power supplier was hell. Many suppliers I contacted did not reply and just did not seem interested. Steve from Geelong Solar Energy has been so helpful and patient with me trying to understand what it is all about. Though his price was slightly higher than the cheaper ones, I feel more comfortable with getting him to do it. His follow up has been exceptional.

Wednesday 13th January, 2021Rod from New South WalesHi Steve, I thought you might like to know how the 6kW system you installed for us back in June last year is travelling.
Since switch-on back on June 28, it has produced an average daily output of 23.6kWhr with a highest recorded reading of 40 on Dec 10. It has produced a total of 4880kWh ($1200 worth), of which 3180 have been exported to the grid.
Our metered consumption during this time has been 3100 of power and 1270 of hot water, so basically all we’re paying for is hot water. We ran the heater 24/7 for a lot of the winter, which we don’t normally do, so returning to “normal” would probably see most of the hot water consumption covered as well! We are very happy with the outcome!!! Cheers

I had an LG 6.3kw Solar system with a Fronius inverter installed and Steve was Fantastic throughout the entire process. I had done a lot of research about solar and Steve’s knowledge in the industry was outstanding. There are a lot of solar installers in the industry today who will take your money and run but Steve’s communication before & ‘after’ the install was great, he really takes his job seriously and he and his team take pride in there work. A great tradesman is hard to find in any industry so I was very pleased to have found a company that had passion and expertise in there field. As I said, I highly recommend Geelong solar for your install, you will not be disappointed.

We found Steve by default as a result of asking for a quote to compare with another supplier who had failed to impress. From the first telephone call it was obvious that Steve is committed to his customers, industry and to the Geelong region. He offered to visit and quote within 24 hours and presented a sensible and straight forward approach to our needs. He was fastidious in dealing with Powercor to get the best system installed to fulfil our power needs. He made a firm date for the installation and arrived with two Electricians who made the installation to a very high standard – his team are excellent tradesmen and produced a fine result. Steve has followed up at every stage of the installation particularly with his after sales care with regard to demonstrating the Inverter/Smart meter and arranging relevant inspections etc. We have no hesitation in recommending Steve and his Company Geelong Solar Energy Pty Ltd – he delivers what he promises and they are a pleasure to deal with.

Having moved from Melbourne recently we had no idea who to go with. Can't speak for performance yet as the install has only just been completed but the last few sunny days are showing high numbers on the output. Hopefully this reflects on our energy bills.
