Lighting uses 15% of the world’s electricity, which is a massive cost to businesses and the planet. Switching to LED smart lighting cuts this by up to 90%. Austep reduces the lifecycle costs of lighting, and improves light quality. People don’t always notice lighting, but they do notice how it makes a space feel. Austep has lit hospitals, homes, schools, and factories; savings millions of dollars in power and maintenance costs and thousands of tonnes of CO2. The Austep goal is to deliver positive impact. This includes reducing electricity and other lifecycle impacts with long-lasting LED solutions, and donating 2% of turnover to charity.
