Tuesday 6th October, 2020Nat from QueenslandFrom the moment I phoned SAE group in sunny coast it has been such an easy process. Pete Moran was super easy to deal with and had great communication. The installation was completed within two weeks and ran very smoothly. I was emailed and phoned prior to the installation and after to make sure I was happy. They even hooked my wifi up to the solar for me, and showed me how to download the app to my phone and log in. Absolutely no issues at all. Had to wait a further week for Alinta energy to swap the new meter over. I will add that I organised this all without the assistance of my husband (much to his surprise), that’s how easy the process was. I have 26 x sunpower 330w panels and an 8.26 kw fronius inverter. It is an 8.58 kw system. I will attach photos of the panels and inverter (please note that not all of the panels have been photographed). The inverter is surprisingly quiet when running also. I never write reviews. I’m only doing this because SAE group were amazing and I want other people to be able to find the information when they search google as I always read what people write on product review, as I know it’s not biased. Please note that the photos attached were taken on an extremely cloudy day. Hope this review helps someone.

Then there is Steve and his team who came for installation. It would be difficult to find a nicer group of workers. They were friendly, efficient, happy, professional and patient.
I want to particularly thank Steve as he explained some technical matters with great patience and this was after taking the time to come out for a job that we discovered we were not set up for (ancient electrical system).

We have a 25 x 390 watt Sunpower Maxeon 3 panel matched with the Enphase micro inverters. The online monitoring is fantastic and identified 9 panels weren't operational for the first 3 days.
SAE were excellent when I informed them and organized for their contractors to come out within 3 working days. The minor issue was rectified within 1 hour and the system is producing around 37KW/h on a sunny Autumn day and 18KW/h on a totally cloudy day.

I showed the team what I saw as the best route for the cables which they followed and finished the job quickly. I got up on the roof for a look, all the brackets were nicely located on the the colorbond ridges, the penetration through the roof was nicely finished off with a decktite. The inverter installation in the garage has been completed neatly in a great location. Overall very happy with the job done.

Purchased a 9.9kw system or 30 panels. Time from quote to install was a little over a month. The SAE people were in contact at every step of the process. Three blokes attended and undertook installation worked all day, non-stop. Handover in the afternoon was informative. Only thing was, wifi couldn’t reach the inverter and probably due to distance and having a brick wall in between. SAE offered to complete this should we get wifi closer. Paid and received receipt next day. Happy with our purchase. Looking forward to less or nil power bills!

Install was over two days with two guys on-site. Really happy with the result and the guys were friendly, punctual and extremely knowledgeable of the products being installed. The end result is amazing, the system looks great on the roof and Enphase board is neat and tidy in the garage.
All in all, was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend SAE.

The whole process was simple and every step was explained thoroughly. From the office folks, to my consultation, and the installation guys who can't be matched, it was all great. My last bill was only $0.62 so extremely happy with that, especially with our high usage on the pool. We also had a new ducted AC installed by SAE, again extremely happy with the professionalism. Tuesday 6th November, 2018 from Had a 10kW system installed. Seraphim Eclipse 310W panels with Enphase iQ7+ micro-inverters. The system has been working a treat. The Enphase Enlighten Manager and Envoy monitoring systems allows me to fully see what is happening even down to single panel monitoring.
The install had a couple of hiccups with tilt angles incorrect to start with (should be equivalent to your latitude angle - Brisbane 27 degrees) but the techs came back around in no time to do the adjustment. One of the micros didn’t work at first but was fixed as well (wiring problem) and a incorrect wiring at the meter box was also corrected.
Apart from these speed bumps the staff at SAE were knowledgeable and very efficient. I’m putting 5kW/hour back into the grid (all your allowed on single phase) during the day from 9.30am till 4pm on most (sunny) days even with appliances and air con going.
SAE is a good company selling a good product at a competitive price. I recommend them.

Next day he took some time and visited my house and explained how the process works. He is very knowledgeable in solar power and explained about Solar panels, invertor, size of solar (Kwh- how much we actually require) and the orientation of Sun angle et cetra. I was pleased with the information provided by Craig. Brodie and Holly (Office staff) very prompt in response and they are very very flexible moving the date for installation due to my final settlement. The strong reason why I opted SAE is because they are the product distributors and has own installation team (Hemi Hill and his team). After the installation he did a walk through on how to monitor, set hot water timer and turn on and off the invertor. I really appreciate the way the whole team executed the installation. I got my second bill which is $4.66 and its the best investment I have ever done. Finally, from paper-work to post installation, SAE group dealt with efficiently and professionally. SAE are a highly professional and well-established outfit, who install good quality equipment at a competitive price. The sales consultant we dealt with (Craig, Brisbane) was very helpful and knowledgeable, and the install team were friendly, efficient and took great care with the panel positioning to maximise exposure.
We have already recommended SAE to others.

On a tiled roof with a lot of small facets on a two storey house, the system consists of three clusters of panels on two strings and the inverter is in a garage separate to the house .. Not an easy install. The system went in on schedule, the visible workmanship is showpiece, commissioning by Energex took about ten days (Energex delay) and the system has run faultlessly since. We're on the premium FIT at 50 cents/KwH, we just made the cutoff for that and then only because SAE Group submitted an application to get us a place on the FIT queue in advance of the install and before the cutoff. We've have no bills since the system was installed and $1000 pa in the bank in FIT payments. The $7000 the system cost is possibly the best investment we will ever make. 5 STAR?? Not nearly enough really, my experience with SAE Group is 7 STAR .. :-) .. !
