The team that installed the solar were fantastic also! Constantly liaising with me & even asking to rearrange the solar panel configuration on the roof to make sure there were no shadows on any panels! Managed to place the inverter out of the way instead of near the door which would have been too crowded. Very friendly team & very efficient!

They provided a professional quotation, explained the product options clearly and answered the questions that we asked clearly and quickly. Once we chose to move forward with them, the installation experience went smoothly. The installers were clearly highly experienced and they executed the job with a minimum of fuss, carefully cleaning up after themselves and explaining the system, start-up and shut-down precesses clearly. Our experience with GI Energy has been very good, and while they were not the cheapest of the options we looked at, they proved to be a solid and reputable company to deal with from our perspective.

With no hard sell, I got an 'all in' quote which was competitive and well suited to our needs. After clarifying a few details, I signed up and they had the new system installed about 10 days later. Sales, Operations, Technical - all the team were friendly, very capable and interested in making sure we had a good experience - and that it certainly was ! Thanks to everyone in the GI Energy team !

We dealt with Daniel and his professionalism, courteous manner and knowledge liaising with our builder was brilliant. Stuart and his crew get 10 out of 10 for the installation!
The whole process was stress free - everything was just spot on! We are over the moon with the price, quality and service on our system and are now looking forward to reaping the rewards of investing in solar.

Not only Matt from GI Energy was the first to reply back with a quote (on the same day) but also offered the best pricing out of 7 installers I reached out to. I couldn't believe the difference between the quotes. Compared to the worst quote I had, GI Energy was 32% cheaper for the exact same panels, inverter and battery.
Byron and his team arrived at 8AM sharp as promised and did an amazing job setting up my system as you can see from the image attached. The boys were super friendly, professional and informative.
From the very beginning to the very end, my experience with GI Energy has been exceptional and satisfying. Would recommend them to everyone I know.

They come across as very professional and understanding the desires of the customer. I had a 6.3 kW system installed with Fronius inverter for a very reasonable price. I was hoping for an average of 15kW production per day but it came out even over 20kW per day over period of a year. It significantly reduced my electricity bill. Very happy and can highly recommend them!

Friday 8th November, 2019Philip Dawe from QueenslandProbably one of the wisest decision we have ever done is to have solar panels installed and choosing the right company to do the job has made the transition easy to absorb the mechanics of it all, comprehend and interpret. From the time I inquired and interacted with Kaye she was very clear and prompt with her replies. The IT guy Scott has persevered and attended the premises to ensure that the App which I can view wherever I am is working efficiently. Vanessa has been so efficient in attending to my concerns. Finally, Matt spent a long time and patiently explaining and interpreting how to interpret my current bills and consumption. The buck doesn't stop after the installation...the on going support that they have provided long after the installation have not cease and they are all amazingly pleasant to assist with any of my inquiries and believe me I have a lot...they even offered to review my bills for the next 12 months. One would think that it's a family business because they really care and they don't clock off at 5 PM

The guy's certainly know there stuff and both Matt and Luke were great with following up afterwards when I had issues with my electricity provider after the change to solar. Sunday 3rd June, 2018Howard Ormerod from QueenslandAfter speaking to numerous companies and quickly working out who I did NOT want to deal with, I narrowed the search down to Green Incentives and one other company. Other Solar firms came in cheaper (like for like), but I've learned that cheaper can mean problems, particularly if you can't find out much about the company.
During the process Joe at Green Incentives was exceptional, very knowledgeable and was able to differentiate better than the competition. I went with a 6kw Fronius system, with 22 REC panels and quality racking. The installers did a superb job, extremely professional and took their time to ensure my panel layout fit our energy needs (in terms of sun position during the day). Other companies may use fixed price installers to reduce costs, but then you lose the quality service as they will want to be in and out quickly. Even though our installers had to travel back from the Sunshine to Gold Coast, they arrived 7am and left gone 4pm. A I had a call from Green Incentives the next day to discuss my satisfaction with the job.
My advice when choosing solar is pay that little bit more for peace of mind you're dealing with a quality company.

Luke always replied to emails and phone calls instantly, and very honest with his knowledge. Louise kept me up-to-date continually with phone calls and emails with install dates, etc - which is nice when you don't have to keep calling a company as you know they have everything under control.
The installers Ben and Dan were amazing too, punctual and extremely polite. Also only too happy to answer questions. Ben also went through the system at the end of install - even showing photos of the panels on the roof.
Definitely a great company with a lot of pride. Very impressed - and if you are considering a solar system, I highly recommend giving GI Energy a call.
